FOSS4G Europe is being held in Como, Northern Italy in July this year.
The FOSS4G (Free and Open Source Software for GIS) conferences aim to foster relationships between users and developers to improve the openness of software and data.
The main conference (4 days) features 6 tracks including a Water track for the first time. This track focusses on water management and related environmental modelling using FOSS GIS. Track subjects include Flood risk management and response, Monitoring and early warning systems and much more.
